Youth Participation Learning Event Registration 29-30th April 2008

Event management of ‘From Here to Where?... Making Connections for Youth Participation Project’. Two day residential Learning Event - April 29-30, Jacksons Hotel Ballybofey, Co. Donegal. With over 200 delegates from a range of Statutory, community, voluntary and academic sectors. The Youth Participation Project (YPP) is a cross-border initiative that is facilitating youth participation and real change in the planning and design of health and social care services.

The event was opened by Ms Sylda Langford, Director General, Office of the Minister for Children, Dublin. Keynote Address by Gillian Calvert, Commissioner for Children and Young People, New South Wales, Australia. Other Contributors included Dr. John Davis, University of Edinburg, Liam Cairns, Investing in Children, Durham Local Authority. Patricia Lewsley, Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People.
