About Storm PM
Storm PM Ltd is a young and vibrant company specialising in Event Management and PR. Owned and managed by Tricia Gallagher, the company experienced exciting trading early in their early set up and is busy planning for more successful events in the years ahead.
Meriting the ‘Emerging Business of the Year Award’ in 2009, the company has secured a number of events throughout the North West including Riverdance at the new Aura Leisure Centre Letterkenny in 2007 and 2008, management of the annual 10 day Mary from Dungloe International Festival, various sell out concerts including Sharon Shannon, Shane McGowan, Mundy & Friends, the event management of the HSE’s first carbon neutral conference as well as various other corporate conferences; securing the contract at Solis Lough Eske Castle for corporate group team building activities, and bringing the first real ice rink to Donegal which attracted over 39,000 skaters over its seven weeks tenure.
Having gained this experience and high profile, Storm PM is looking forward to expanding its operations far beyond the North West.
Tricia Gallagher - Managing Director
Tricia decided to set up Storm PM upon her return to Donegal having worked
on a number of events across the country including Taste of Dublin, 7up Christmas
on Ice at the RDS, Style in the City at Merrion Square Dublin, the Seagate
Foyle Film Festival and the Department of Cultural Development at University
of Ulster.
Following her achievement of BA Hons Business Studies with Accounting, Tricia spent some time travelling throughout Europe, United States, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Feeling that she’d seen quite a bit of the world before turning 25, Tricia returned to Ireland and completed a PGDip Event Management with PR.
The successful mix of talent, academic achievement and diverse experience has enabled Tricia to build great contacts and a network of quality suppliers in the industry. Using this to her advantage she aims to provide a variety of events for people and businesses across the North of Ireland.
Aisling McGonigle - Event Manager
Aisling’s association with Storm PM began when she helped University
friend Tricia with Riverdance in Donegal. This gave her a taste for the
event buzz. At that time, Aisling, together with her now husband
Ryan, were managing their own designer wear shop ‘The Garage’ in
Letterkenny which they ran for three years.
Prior to this, Aisling was a Business Development Officer at Owenkillew Development Company Ltd in Co. Tyrone with responsibility for a variety of tasks including development and implementation of marketing campaigns, coordinating the service activities at the centre, and event managing the fundraising activities.
After working on Riverdance, Aisling felt that having had the variety of both small and large scale events she gained an even greater determination and inspiration to pursue Event Management as a full time career.
